Sophie Parent (she/her) is a social worker and a PhD candidate in social work at Université Laval. Her research interests focus on feminist issues, sexual and gender diversity, as well as conjugal and family diversity. She is particularly interested in the interactions between marginalized individuals and families and social and health services. Her doctoral thesis examines polyparental families in Canada.
