Kim Meeking

Kim Meeking (she/they) is a queer immigrant settler living in Nova Scotia, the ancestral home of the Mi'kmaq. They are a radiation therapist with a background in clinical trials management and healthcare communications. Kim holds a masters in clinical health research and their recent work includes exploring HPV access and uptake in 2SLGBTQI+ communities, experiences of gynecologic cancer in transgender and gender diverse individuals, and integrating inclusive strategies into clinical trial design and delivery. Since 2020, Kim has co-led Queering Cancer, a Canadian initiative dedicated to improving cancer care for 2SLGBTQ+ communities through advocacy, education, and knowledge mobilization.
